Today’s a good day

I have been working quite steady this week….I get to pay back a loan EARLY! David and I continue to slog through issues….a new issue cropped up with Gillian. She goes to a charter school and come next year….no more High School. It really sucks as we wanted to keep here there until she graduated…so now on to the best High School search  for her. Will it be my alma mater? Who knows…but only if we all agree AND it is the best fit for her academically. She has also made some excellent friends and I want us to all band together and try to send “our kids” to as many of the same schools as we can….after all there is strength in numbers. My parents will be back a little later than they planned, but still home soon. Anyways, hope everyone else is having a good day as well.

I do Medical Transcription from home…and I am assigned to two Doctors in New York city. One worked….a little bit. The other took the week off, presumably to spend it with his kids. I have had minimal work from the first MT company I started with….and I did just start a part-time gig this week too…yet…I have been able to relax a little bit each day. Take today for example, I watched The Kids are All Right in the middle of the day….I love being self-employed at times….

Anyways, hope everyone else had a great day,

Spring has sprung!

I start on my new part-time job today (from home) and Spring has definitely sprung. Buds on the trees and weather is nice one day, then cool the next, all part of Springtime in the Rockies. Other than that work is definitely moving along. This is Gillian’s spring break week and she got great grades for third quarter (of course). Having dinner with friends a lot lately which is awesome, and David and I are talking about moving in together next year….so many things are positive it’s awesome! Have a great day all.

So I got the work from home position. It will start out slow, but work it’s way up. I’m looking forward to getting started. I took on more work with one of the companies I am an MT for as well so I am now starting to get fairly steady work. My parents will be home the first week in April, so things will adjust at home.

Life is still darn good, I have a roof over my head, a car to drive, a fabulous boyfriend and an outstanding daughter. I am slightly shaken by all the tumultuous world events…saddened by the news that so many disasters are happening…I can only pray for those affected.

I hope this finds you and yours well…..take care.

So, it’s been quite a while since I blogged.  I got some work through a former co-worker who referred me to her brother, and I also just got off the phone with a potential work from home position to add to my repertoire.

My eventual goal is to be able to work from home and be as busy as I want to be…AND at the same time making enough $$ to pay my bills, save for taxes, have some savings, and some left over for fun too.

Anyways…that’s about it…life is good, I have a roof over my head, a car to drive, a fabulous boyfriend and an outstanding daughter. I am one darn lucky woman.

Hope this finds all you and yours well.
